When 911 is dialed from a MLTS, 92% of PSAP centers that use Rapid SOS will automatically not only receive basic location information, but they’ll receive a schematic layout of the location’s building including room numbers & floor information.

With NG911, information is more readily available including better and more relevant location information over an above the traditional 911.
This can be accomplished more effectively and cost efficient as intelligent network and devices allow for more location data to the PSAP.

NG911 in the customer’s environment supports better accuracy as devices that register to the network can support a deeper level of location intel. A customer does not have to deploy DID or direct inward dial telephone numbers to each employee as the level of location detail that is provided is done via the NG911 software application.

This also provides better support for adds/moves/changes when an employee either moves within their office building or takes their VoIP handset home for teleworking.

The software application automates the guesswork for managing moves with the appropriate location intel updated.
